What HCAlert is and what it is used for:
HCAlert is a unique platform made up of three components: Mobile App, Clinical Screening Algorithm, and a Clinical Platform. It is an analytics system applied to the telemonitoring of health data. It is based on a cloud service, which receives health data from different suppliers of monitoring devices and creates alerts for the user in order to warn about critical situations, depending on the predefined healthcare programme and/or clinical protocol in the system.
Intended use:
HCAlert is for health preventative and surveillance purposes, monitoring patients’ long-term vital signs and providing a telehealth system for medical assistance. The patients selected for the use of this technology are those indicated by hospitals to implement telemonitoring strategies.
