A STORY THAT DEFINES A BEGINNING
Hope Care emerged from a story of dedication and determination.
In 2001, in view of his mother’s diagnosis of Amiotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, determined for her not to be institutionalised, and with the clinical team more than 300 km away, José Paulo created his first remote monitoring system: simple but visionary.
Hope Care emerged from the desire to maintain close care, even at a distance: the alliance of technology and care.
José Paulo holds a degree in Theology from the Catholic University of Portugal, and a specialisation in Documental Sciences from the University of Lisbon and an Executive MBA from AESE/IESE. His professional career includes consultancy in information systems and digital transformation for the Portuguese Ministry of Finance.
José’s varied academic and professional experience enable him to lead with a broad and integrated approach to healthcare solutions, combining innovative practices with a deep commitment to compassionate patient care.
